Hi, I’m Jess. I’m currently a second year history undergraduate at Queen Mary University of London. I’m still figuring out a lot of things, so forgive me if some of the things I say seem weird. For the most part I’m writing the kind of blog I would have wanted to read when I was first getting in to all of this university stuff. It’s a crazy kind of world, and if at least someone benefits from my half-wisdom, half-rambling then I’ve done at least one thing right.
If I’m honest, I don’t have a particular goal with this at the moment. I have tried and failed to set up a functioning blog so many times that I’ve lost count. So in the interest of finally ignoring perfectionism, I will allow this to become a mess of thoughts that spew out of my brain. Sounds a bit gross, but trust me I think it will work.
In all honesty, I just want to relay my experiences and hope that helps others. I’ve made and continue to make many a mistake, and I’ve found it is much nicer to benefit from the mistakes of others rather than your own.
So, yeah. This is a mixture of a university advice blog, a study advice blog, a living in London as a student blog and probably a travel/art/lifestyle/cooking blog too. Take from it what you want and ignore anything else.
Thanks for stumbling upon this, I hope it helps you in some way, shape or form.
